Ferrumin is a food supplement containing a special combination of biochemically active ingredients (Fe, Cu, vitamin C, B2, B12 and folic acid) which support formation of red blood cells. Deficiency of red blood cells occurs during menstruation, pregnancy. Blood donors and vegetarians can suffer from deficiency of red blood cells as well. Sufficient intake of iron is necessary for the formation of red blood cells because iron participates in oxygen transport mechanisms and it is an active part of hemoglobin. Other elements and vitamins are necessary for effective incorporation of iron into red blood cells. Ferrumin is very well tolerated and doesn’t induce adverse stomach reactions. Ferrumin is available in a pack size of 100 capsules.
Iron (in organic form as a lactate), copper, molybdenum, vitamin C, B2, B12, folic acid and biotin. You can request the information on the content of active ingredients by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells, hemoglobin and to the transfer of oxygen in the body. Iron also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and it helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. Deficiency of red blood cells can lead to anemia which manifests itself by tiredness, loss of appetite, irritation and headaches. The best time for the body to utilizes iron is during the first 2 hours after waking up. The ability to utilize iron decreases during the day.
Copper contributes to the distribution of iron in blood, to the normal function of the immune system and it helps to protects cells from oxidative stress, to maintenance of normal connective tissues and to normal energy metabolism.
Vitamin C increases the body’s ability to utilize iron and to reduce tiredness and fatigue. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin B2 contributes to maintenance of normal red blood cells, to normal energy metabolism, to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to maintenance of normal mucous membranes and skin.
Vitamin B12 contributes to normal formation of red blood cells, to the normal function of the immune system, to normal energy metabolism and to the normal function of the nervous system. It reduces tiredness and fatigue and it participates in the process of cell division.
Folic acid contributes to normal blood formation and synthesis of amino acids. It contributes to the process of cell division, to growth of embryonic tissues during pregnancy and to the normal function of the immune system.Folic acid also reduces tiredness and fatigue.
Biotin contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism, to normal energy metabolism and to the normal function of the nervous system.
Molybden contributes to normal sulfur amino acid metabolism.
