A special porous structure of the multimineral compound similar to a honeycomb gives Aquamin a large absorbent surface which is capable of effective buffering. The gastric acid reacts with mineral compounds contained in Kamacit during formation of compounds which do not show acidity and its second effect is binding of protons to polysaccharides representing a part of the organic part of the compound. These carbohydrates can bind a large amount of protons and they can perform its buffering function for a longer time.
Kamacit is a suitable natural source of calcium. It provides the body with highly absorbable calcium that is biologically active and it is also a significant source of other important mineral substances and trace elements necessary for maintaining overall health.

Kamacit is not suitable for people suffering from kidney diseases because of its higher calcium content. People suffering from a thyroid disfunction should not take more than 4 tablets a day because Kamacit contains iodine. Do not combine Kamacit with other food supplements containing iodine.
