These extracts and red stinkwood (Pygeum africanum) bark extract contribute to the normal function of the urinary tract. Saw palmetto extract also contributes to the normal function of the reproductive system. These plants contain natural substances containing high content of fatty acids and phytosterols which probably counteracts hyperactivity of 5-alpha reductase. The reductase is applied during the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Increased amount of DHT in the blood is one of the main causes of prostate enlargement and hair loss. These plants are also ascribed with anti-inflammatory effects. Thanks to them they have positive effects on the bladder and they don’t reduce quality of sex life.
Zinc contributes to maintenance of normal blood testosterone level, normal fertility and normal reproduction. Zinc also contributes to normal metabolism of acids, alkalis, carbohydrates, macronutrients and fatty acids, to normal synthesis of DNA, to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal function of the immune system. Zinc also participates in the process of cell division.
Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis, to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Adults: 1-2 capsules a day after eating. 1 capsule if you have mild prostate problems. 2 capsules if you have more significant problems. The effect of Prostabil can be expected after 4-6 week of regular taking of Prostabil. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should not use Prostabil. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Prostabil should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

Prostabil is not suitable for people suffering from lactose intolerance. It contains an allergen present in milk (lactose, powder milk).
